What:
The Charter Day School Social Studies & Language Arts departments have organized the Student Government Association election event on Monday, June 6th from 1:30-3:30. We will have a number of events this day: we have scheduled public figures to come speak; our Student Government candidates will make their speeches for presidency; there will be a town hall forum-style Q&A; and we will have voting booths set up for the students to elect their SGA leader. We are tremendously excited about this event, as it will emulate some of the real aspects of going through an election, making informed decisions, & having a say as a citizen. This will be a terrific example of students learning how to be responsible, decisive members of our country & world.
