Just a reminder that we will hold our seventh annual FASTAR competition tomorrow in Leland and Thursday in Whiteville.
FASTAR – Math and Reading competition
Who:
Qualifying Racers (students) Kindergarten – 5th grade.
Pit Crews (parents) and Coordinator (staff) will be in attendance.
What:
FASTAR stands for Fluent Academic Skills Tournament for Arithmetic and Reading. Nearly 200 charter school racers (students) and their crew chiefs (parents) accept the challenge of tuning their reading and math skills, qualifying for the big race event, and competing for trophies and gold medals while their classmates cheer them on to the finish line!
